In accordance with the Word of God as quoted above, the people of God are seeing visions and dreams.  In this page, we are publishing such visions given by the Holy Spirit, which, if interpreted, would give prophetic messages for edification of the body of Christ.  However, we do not glory in such visions and revelations of the Lord save in the Cross of our Lord Jesus  (II Cor.12: 1 & Gal.6: 14). God gives us visions and dreams so that we can remember them and easily understand the truth. All such visions and dreams should conform to the New Testament doctrines.

MY OWN VISION

 

I saw the following vision in the year 1981 when the Lord entrusted me with a prophetic ministry to the body of Christ.

 

I was in a battlefield. My enemies were chasing me vigorously.  I had to climb a steep mountain to escape my life.  With a great difficulty, I was climbing the mountain and my enemies were firing at me through their guns.  I was running for my life, gasping for my breath.  When I was about to reach the top of the mountain, a white gentleman who stood on the top of the mountain pulled me up to the top.  He asked me to lie down, and not to stand up. In that place where I was asked to lie down, I saw a very big storeroom full of food.

 

Afterwards, I alighted the mountain.  The soldiers of my nation saluted me, calling me “Captain”.  Then I asked them to be ware of the enemy, and to change their army uniforms lest the enemy should recognize and attack them.  But they laughed at me.  I warned them, quoting the Word of God,”… If you hear His voice today, do not harden your heart.  The people of Israel were thrown in the wilderness because they did not obey His voice”.

VISION OF RAINBOW  

 

Evangelist Steven Pyle saw the following vision on Sunday, April 14,2002 in the First Assembly of God Pocahontas, AR, USA. 

“Seen a Bright light, my hands were burning with the fire of God.  I have seen an ocean or a sea. Over this body of water was a rainbow.  The colors in this rainbow were red, blue, green, and gold (not yellow).  The bright light is situated under the rainbow.The light moves over the land, which appears to be desert.  Darkness is over the land; the darkness is coming from the billowing smoke, which emanates from burning buildings.  A giant sword appears in the sky.  Then I see a chestnut colored horse running but could not see if anyone was on this horse. It is very quick, and very strong horse”. By His grace and by His wisdom, the Lord led me to interpret the above vision as follows:

 

The ocean or the sea means the nations.   The rainbow is the revived church, which has washed itself in the Blood of the Lamb (Red); clothed with the righteousness of Christ (Blue); having the abundant grace of God (green); with its faith tested by fire (Job 23:10, I Pet.1: 7).  Yellow means mammon or material prosperity/money.  This revived church is dependent on the power of God and not merely on the worldly finances. This shows that the servants of God should not plan and execute their ministries after making budgets or with sufficient bank balances.  They should completely depend upon God for their ministries.  God would meet their financial needs in a wonderful manner. These servants of God need not make any appeal for funds.  Money would come their way as they engage themselves in doing the perfect will of God.

 The Bright Light is figurative of the Holy Ghost.  The rainbow and the Bright light are inseparable. The Holy Spirit moves over the desert as and when the rainbow sheds its four colors. The Church, the rainbow, acts as the “token of the covenant which God has made through the Blood of the Lamb” (Gen.9: 16).  No government or any ruler can eclipse the rays and the colors emanating from this rainbow.  People of this world can look at this rainbow for escaping the ensuing judgment of God.

 The smoke emanates from the burning of the buildings.  The man-made buildings mean the self-appointed ministries in the House of God.  The judgment of God would devour all such ministries, which are self-centered because the judgment begins at the House of God.

 

 The darkness is caused because the light of the gospel has not reached these places, which are still deserts Now the Holy Spirit moves on these deserts. This shows that God would pour out His Spirit on these deserts so that these deserts would become pools of water or rivers.

 The giant sword is the two edged sword of the Spirit i.e. the Word of God. The servants of God fight the false prophets and teachers and anti-christs with the two-edged Word of God.  While tempting Jesus, the Devil quoted the Word only.  But, Jesus defeated the Devil in the wilderness by quoting the Word from its other side.

             The chestnut colored horse is figurative of the five-fold ministry of New Testament.  Nobody is riding this horse.  This shows that this horse does not represent an individual servant of God’s ministry.  It is a body ministry of His servants with oneness of mind.  The reddish brown color means that this five-fold ministry is the same type of the New Testament ministry, which turned the world upside down.  It is the old wine in a new bottle.  It does not have any new color but has the natural color of wooden furniture.  The natural color of wooden furniture does not fade away with the passage of time, whereas the artificial color of paint fades away. The five-fold ministry of these servants of God will be very active and strong as a horse. The gates of hell will never prevail against the Church, which is ministered by the five-fold ministry of His servants. 

            The hands of the evangelist are burning with the fire of God.   The evangelists of the five-fold ministry ought to be filled with the fire or the power of God. They need not be eloquent orators endowed with the wisdom of this world.  God is looking for simple and humble people, filled with His power, to serve Him as His evangelists.

Vision of Evan Roberts about revival

Evan Roberts of the great revival in Wales began to pray for 100,000 souls, and God gave him the assurance that 100,000 would be won to Christ.  He testified, "The divine fire has taken hold of us."  Roberts felt the necessity of full obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.  He envisaged taking a team of young people with him in evangelism across Wales.  He kept urging the people to surrender fully to the Holy Spirit and to obey Him.

God came upon Evan mightily as he prayed.  One night he could not sleep.  "The room was full of the Holy Spirit.  The outpouring was so overpowering that I had...to plead with God to stay His hand "

God gave His servant visions those days during prayer time.  In one vision Roberts saw the vast fiery pit of hell surrounded by a wall with one door.  He saw a surging mass of people as far on the horizon as he could see coming toward the pit.  He pled with God to shut hell's door for one year.  In another vision, Roberts saw Satan in a hedge, deriding and laughing in defiance at him.  Then he saw a glorious white figure with a flaming sword held high.  The word struck the figure of Satan, who instantly disappeared.  Roberts knew Christ was going to defeat Satan.

In another vision Roberts saw a brilliant moon and an arm stretched out to the world.  He saw the vision again, and this time the hand held a piece of paper on which was written "100,000".

On Sunday night, October, 30, 1904 as he sat in the service at Newcastle-Emlyn, Roberts had one more vision.  He saw the school room in his own village and his young friends and companions sitting in rows before him.  He saw himself speaking to them.  He heard God's voice saying, "Go and speak to these people".  At last Roberts said yes to God, and instantly the vision vanished and the whole chapel seemed filled with light and glory.  In the Sunday service Roberts' friends noticed that his face was shining.  In the youth prayer meeting, tears streamed from his eyes as he prayed repeatedly, "Glory Thy Son".

That week God God gave Evan such a prayer burden for his home area at Loughoron that he asked his principal's permission to go home for one week's meetings with the young people.  Obtaining permission, he immediately went home, where his family could not understand why he had come.  He talked of being blessed and of being baptized and filled with the Spirit.  When he thought of the need in Wales, he would burst into tears.  When he thought of God's promise of revival and souls, he would laugh for joy.  His family wondered: "Had Evan become mentally ill"?
